John and Patricia Turner Sign Franchise Agreement with Allegra Networks.
San Diego, CA—December 22, 2006, John and Patricia Turner have signed a franchise agreement with Allegra Networks to develop and operate a print and imaging company in San Diego. The company will provide business to business and retail customers with a full spectrum of printing services including offset printing, digital printing, signs, screening, embroidery, web development, bulk mailing and marketing services.
John Turner stated "Our plan will include buying established printing companies in San Diego County and consolidating them into the Allegra Print and Imaging operation. This is a logical move for Patty and I, synergistic with other things we have been doing. For the past three years we have been developing our business plan for Ez-Living a company that develops and sells products to the senior market. Our testing which began with the Ez-Living website, has included development and testing of additional websites including saveontelephones.com. It has been an interesting journey that has culminated in a comprehensive business plan which we are now discussing with potential investors. Our research with Ez-Living has identified significant opportunities for opening retail stores to serve the senior community. The plan for Ez-Living senior stores is a grand plan that like most grand plans requires significant capital, well beyond our personal resources. A grand plan which may take many months, perhaps years to assemble the funding resources required to open multiple stores. Patty and I felt the timing was right to expand our business ventures as we take what ever time is needed to complete the Ez-Living plans. The printing business offers great growth opportunities. By teaming up with Allegra Networks we can offer our customers the best printed products, from a variety of technologies, at competitive prices, a local business we can grow to be a significant part of our future."
JPCG Printers, Inc., will be working with Allegra Networks to identify possible acquisition candidates in the San Diego market. The company will acquire one or more printers and upgrade them to be a full service Allegra print and imaging company, operating under the Allegra Networks brand. San Diego County now has over 270 print shops of various sizes from small mom and pop operations to larger print centers. Many specialize only in offset, digital or other niche areas in the print business. The plan for the Allegra print center will be to offer the client full services from design, to printing, to bulk mailing.
Turner said "We see a lot of synergism in the things we are pursuing, printing, catalogs, web development, marketing, mailing services, B-to-B and consumer sales. Many of these functions such as the development and maintenance of websites, printing and mailing catalogs are basic needs of a product/sales company like Ez-living. We look forward to building a significant print business serving customers both on the local and national level. We also hope to build strong equity for our operation with the acquisition of real estate, owning our own buildings that these companies will be operating out of. As we build our print business, we will continue to challenge ourselves to develop companies like Ez-Living that could leave a lasting impression on the American retail landscape."
Discussions are underway with potential printer acquisition candidates. The Turners hope to complete the first printer acquisition by late summer. For more details contact John Turner jturner@jpcgm.com. |
